A Better You Low Carb Instructions
Listen to CD1 during the initial phase of your diet where you are allowed zero or very few carbohydrates.
Listen to CD2 during the subsequent phases of your diet where you are allowed to eat a few more carbohydrates daily.
If at some point in your dieting, you return to the “zero carb” aspect of the diet, listen to CD1 again, or listen to it occasionally if you continue to have substantial carbohydrate cravings.
Continue with daily listening as instructed to CD1 and/or CD2 for at least 21 days for it is repetition and consistency that creates permanent change.
- Find a place where you will not be disturbed for about 25 minutes.
- Lie or sit comfortably. If you are sitting, have your head supported, your feet flat on the floor and your hands flat on your lap or to your side. If you prefer to lie down, have your feet spread apart and your hands flat to your side.
- Reach over and press play. **Headphones are preferred for maximum results. There is dialogue in both sides of the headphones. Also, you may hear a subtle voice, almost like a whisper. This is intentional for added effect for behavior changes.
- When you begin, take 3 deep breaths. When you breathe, breathe in through your nose, filling your diaphragm/belly (as opposed to your chest) and breath out through your mouth. Imagine a deep relaxation filling you with each inhale and all stress, anxiety and tension escaping with each exhale.
- Enjoy this relaxation and simply let the CD play to the end where you are brought back to complete awareness when you will hear, “On the count of three your eyes will open and you will come back to complete awareness, …... number 3, eyes open!”
