Ultimate Weight
Here's a different questions for you, what's your ultimate weight? What is the number that will come up on the scale when you have decided that's it, no more, that is my ultimate weight? You probably don't have such a number in mind and that is why many people gain weight with no end in sight. We all seem to know what we would like to weigh but have no idea when enough is enough. People have reframed these two words also and think their ultimate weight is the least weight they should be.
The lesser number is really your goal weight while the biggest number in pounds you reach or have reached should be known as your ultimate weight. Use terms and words clearly for your subconscious mind doesn't know what you mean, it only knows the meaning of the words you use. So if you're focus is on a lesser weight avoid saying things like, "I can't wait until I get to my ultimate weight." You really mean, "I love weighing the perfect weight for me." There are also ultimate weight loss plans and diets as the term ultimate weight is common. Ultimate weight lost or ultimate weight achieved (see, suing it incorrectly). What is anyone's ultimate weight? Let's say we are using this term meaning your healthiest weight> Did you know it changes? As we age it becomes almost impossible for most people to ever again look like they did 10 or 20 years ago. We change and our expectation of how we should look and what our ultimate weight will be needs to adjust accordingly. I had a 29 inch waist when I was in my young 20's but that ship has come and sailed. I won't see that again if I'm to stay healthy. It just won't happen as my physiology has changed. What about you? Have you adjusted your expected healthy weight according to your age and body changes? It's not about being skinny, it's about being healthy. As long as you are healthy and your weight is manageable, you're doing better than most. And by realizing more realistically and reasonably as to what your ultimate weight should be (lesser healthy weight) then you will find a lot more emotional comfort and ease for life will be more reasonable and that's all you should expect. Just imagine how many hours, weeks, months and years all add up to the time spent on thinking about weight and weight loss and eating and dieting. People have lost track of life and have become smothered with this issue of weight. When will the madness end? It seems to more weight loss information we hear the more confusing it gets.
