Self Hypnosis Books
As you might imagine I have a lot of books and many of them are self hypnosis books. Not so much because I need to know any more on how to do self hypnosis but because it always interests me to see people's different approaches. You would think there is only so much to write about this natural process we call self hypnosis but people can get very creative. Lie on your back, tilt your head and look behind you at a blue light, etc. Some focus on breathing or imagining colors or imagining your cells relaxing in some of these self hypnosis books.
Self hypnosis books mainly all teach you the same thing but I've learned some self hypnosis books don't actually teach you how to do self hypnosis. They may be about the benefits of using self hypnosis or about misconceptions people have. Some self hypnosis books, like any other topic around, may be against the process and this is mainly based on the ignorance of the writer as to what self hypnosis actually is. We are all in self hypnosis states daily we just never called it such because we never learned the truth. Once you drift out of a conscious, thinking, analytical state of mind, you enter levels of trance. We call it being in the zone or spaced out or daydreaming. It's all trance. But Hollywood and fiction warped the meaning and perception of that word too, trance. Some self hypnosis books touch upon this as well as other pieces of information to create some clarity about self hypnosis what it really is and how people can and do benefit by using it as a daily practice. We all are so focused on the need for physical exercise, which I am in favor of because there surely are many benefits, like living healthier and longer. But we also must realize there is a mind / body connection that exists, they are not separate. So it is just as important to exercise our mind and self hypnosis books can teach you the simple process to do this. When we have a mind-body balance, it is amazing how we begin to feel and how life changes. When we increase our positive energy through the way we think and feel while at the same time increasing our physical energy, we begin to think differently and act differently. When we do something different, there have to be different results. You cannot make mental, emotional and physical changes and not expect to see changes in your life. We have all witnessed this in the negative way so it is inevitable if the changes are positive life will give us positive changes in our reality. Look at a few self hypnosis books the next time you're in a book store, even if it's to buy a cup of coffee. And if you don't get out much, try looking for information on self hypnosis online. There's a ton of that available.
