If there was ever a winning combination it's self hypnosis and weight loss. It's no secret the reason why people don't lose weight when they try to is because they can't maintain healthy behaviors. We'll do what we have to long enough, sometimes, to reach the goal but then what happens? The old behavior kicks back in and all that progress and achievement is over and gone. Think of self hypnosis as meditation with a target, a specific goal. The process is very similar of getting into the more relaxed state of mind but the difference is what happens once that is achieved. In meditation it is common to sit and listen, feel, sense what is going on internally. The time to end the thinking thoughts and mind chatter we are bombarded by. Using self hypnosis and weight loss, once you get into that internally focused relaxed state you use the creative part of you, your imagination, and use all your senses to create your goal as if it already exists.
