Hypnotize Weight Loss

It's really peculiar when I hypnotize weight loss clients they have this idea that the hypnosis will make fat jump off their body. At least that's how they seem to respond sometimes. After their hypnosis sessions they will have healthier eating patterns, healthier food choices and become more active but if they don't lose weight right away they get disappointed and think hypnosis wasn't successful. Huh? If I hypnotize a weight loss client and they have behavior changes they couldn't make before then hypnosis worked. Hypnosis works with the mind, the body them does what it will do to release fat.

Another issue, not just when I hypnotize weight loss clients, but with people in general is that we want whatever we want now! Instant gratification has become even worse since technology has allowed us to not have to wait so long. Before microwaves you had to actually use a pot or pan just to reheat food and it took a while to heat up that food. We used to be so much more patient watching television but now it's out of control. Click, flick, press and click again, change stations, what's on, what's on next? In order to hypnotize weight loss clients or any of my clients I need to be sure they become aware again that our issues, especially weight gain, did not happen in a day or week. It usually happened over a long period of time so when I hypnotize weight loss clients they need to know thought the behaviors and feelings may change quickly the process of fat release, weight loss, takes time. But if you don't do what is required each day, over time there will be no progress.

After I hypnotize weight loss clients I need to remind them that hypnosis is not a quick fix and they need to use this process consistently. I use the metaphor of going to a gym. If you go to the gym and get benefits, you don't stop going. If you stop going you stop getting the benefits of improving and maintaining your body. It's the same with the mind. Hypnosis is like the mind gym and if you use it you will get benefits. And even though this is a time when you sit quietly, undisturbed and get to deeply relax, people will find all types of excuses not to do it, practice self hypnosis. I hypnotize weight loss clients, they love it, want more yet when I ask them to do it home they come up with excuses. Seems to me not only do people want instant gratification they want everything done for them. Where will it end?

From now on when I hypnotize weight loss clients I'm going to be sure they like it more than ice cream, candy, beer and cheeseburgers and fries or a deep fried clam plate so they'll be sure to do this daily and finally achieve weight loss by hypnosis with or without me.
