Audio Hypnosis Tapes

I have been asked if there is any difference between audio hypnosis tapes or CDs. The only initial difference is the sound quality is better on a CD because there is no tape hiss. You probably know what I mean. When you play a tape there is never real silence for there is always that slight hiss but with a CD silence is truly silence. However, when I was asked about this I wondered who still uses audio hypnosis tapes.

I mean let's face it, we are at the point where CDs are about to be as obsolete as an 8 track tape or vinyl record. Technology has replaced audio hypnosis tapes with audio downloads. No actual physical product, just this sound magically transferred from your computer to an MP3 player and with better quality and ability to edit files. I can remember when I would sit and edit audio hypnosis tapes with much difficulty and limitations. But with digital audio, computers and free editing software, it has become a breeze to create higher quality recordings. But let's look at what matters the most… results. Whether it is audio hypnosis tapes or CDs or MP3 downloads, if the recording was made by someone who understands hypnosis and how sounds and dialogue can create behavior and thought change, the results will be the same and results are all that matters. It doesn't matter if the recording is slick and polished or sounds like a recorded phone call. If you don't get results nothing else matters. One other thing I did forget regarding ne of the benefits of technological changes is storage. Think of how may songs can fit on an MP3 player or iPod and what it would be like to store that many songs, or any audio tracks, on tape or CDs or better yet vinyl records. It's really amazing at how far we have come and in the short time it has happened.

Another question I have been asked is "What if I transfer the audio hypnosis tapes to CDs? I can upload the audio to my computer and then burn the file onto a CD or even download to an MP3 player." Sorry… whatever sound you start with is the sound you end up with. You will have tape hiss on you CD. It's not as if this transferring process eliminates all of the sounds you want removed. So if you still have audio hypnosis tapes keep using them unless they are starting to wear down or you just want better sound quality. And if you think better sound quality doesn't matter, go find an old tape and play it with headphones and realize the difference. But whatever you decide to do as far as what to use, self hypnosis audio tapes, CDs or downloads, for your own sake use something that will help with positive change for a better life.
