I mean it… the hypnotism professionals that work in an ethical and professional manner I highly respect but those who are sleazy and use hypnosis in ways that degrade our honorable profession simply make me sick.

I saw a Google Alert today about an induction. I went to the website to watch the video and there it was… other videos and links to websites promoting people using hypnosis for x rated explicit content. Hey, don't get me wrong. Using our services to assist someone with sexual dysfunction such as erectile dysfunction or vaginismus is a healthy issue for positive personal change but I'm talking about low down, in the gutter smut. What's more bothersome is that these people have skills and could be doing so much more good for our profession, the people they meet and the direction we professionals strive for.

If you want to have some adult fun, by all means have at it but not at the cost of the reputation of a profession that is still doing all it can to be seen as a true profession. Either we are helping us as a whole or hurting us all. What side of the street do you walk on?
