Hypnotists / hypnotherapists and other health professionals around the world have an interest in hypnosis. I am able to verify this first hand as I have been invited to England and then over to Copenhagen to present on hypnosis for weight loss and hypnotic inductions.  I’m sitting in a flat in London typing today’s blog post before making my way to Daventry to present at the National Council of Hypnotherapists Conference. What I have noticed since my last trip here to London 3 years ago is that even though the statisics I found in my research when preparing for my presentation show an increase in the UK population increasing weight and obesity, it is visually apparent as I sat at an outdoor table having coffee this morning.

3 Years ago I recall on the third day here seeing an obese man and I did a double take. Now in America this is quite common yet it dawned on me at that moment that I didn’t see fat people since I left the US. If I did it was rare and I didn’t notice for this man really stood out. However, once I landed back in the US overweight and obese people were the norm, they were everywhere. I wondered, what was it that created such a difference between the two? There are a few major factors but lifestyle is tops on the list.

BTW – I learned something else in my research. Denmark, though 22nd on the list of overweight people by percentage is seeing the numbers multiply over the past 5 years. Seems America isn’t alone… just in the lead. And it’s not by population but by percentage. Not something we really want to win at. Make a change stating today and let someone else take the lead for a change. Lose weight without the struggle.
