Too often we lose sight of what's right. We become unbalanced and sacrifice ourselves for others in an unhealthy way. I was reminded of this during one of my many flights when the flight attendant said;"If the oxygen mask falls put yours on first… even if you're with a child."

Wow! There's a strong message there. How can you help anyone else if you don't help yourself first? How we treat ourselves is how others will treat us. Everything starts with self.

A philosopher once said:
"Well-ordered self-love is right and natural."

Think about that… it's right and natural to love yourself. Starting today, show the world how you want to be treated by loving yourself and taking care of yourself. Oh, by the way… the philosopher and theologian… Saint Thomas of Aquinas.
